This Not Fully Hatched Hoodie shows the penguin still wrapped in its shell, eyes open, mug in flipper, not ready to say good morning yet.
Some mornings start slow, and this one starts slower than most. The shell is still on, the mug is already up, and the eyes say everything the beak won't. Waking up fully is a process, one blink at a time. Nesting chinstrap penguins nod off over 10,000 times a day in naps averaging 4 seconds, adding up to over 11 hours of sleep for each brain half.
Wrapped in a round eggshell white blanket with a jagged cracked rim, the penguin peeks out with only its eyes showing, holding a mug in both flippers, not yet ready to talk. “Not Fully Hatched” is set below the drawing in a colour matched to each hoodie, with a small Chinstrap Collective wordmark underneath.
