This Too Many Neighbours T-Shirt catches a chinstrap penguin perched on a rock, peering through a telescope at a hillside crammed with wild neighbours.
Our hero spent the whole afternoon counting his new neighbours, sure he had never seen so many creatures crowd one hillside. Between telescope checks, he kept one eye on the ground, always on the lookout for a good stone. He figures a penguin with eyes that wide should at least come home with a souvenir for the nest. Off incubation duty, chinstrap penguins gather stones for their nests from the ground, or steal them from other nests.
In a round, engraving-style scene of greens and greys, the penguin peers through a brass telescope from a rocky perch at a hillside packed with seals, penguins and seabirds. “Too Many Neighbours” is set below the drawing in a colour matched to each shirt, with a small Chinstrap Collective wordmark underneath.
