Most of our T-shirts are printed on a unisex, classic-fit tee, in sizes S to 5XL. These are its measurements.

These are measurements of the shirt itself, not of your body. Any one shirt can differ from them by up to 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).

How To Choose Your Size

  1. Take a T-shirt that fits you the way you like, and lay it flat.
  2. Width: measure straight across the chest, from armpit to armpit.
  3. Length: measure from the top of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.
  4. Sleeve length from centre back: measure from the middle of the back of the collar, over the shoulder, to the end of the sleeve.
  5. Find the size whose numbers are closest to yours.

Use a tape measure for accurate numbers.

What The Shirt Is Made Of

  • Solid colours: 100% US cotton.
  • Sport Grey: 90% US cotton, 10% polyester.
  • Heather colours: 50% US cotton, 50% polyester.
  • Ash: 99% US cotton, 1% polyester.

The fabric is 5.3 oz/yd² (180 g/m²), with taped neck and shoulders and a tear-away label. Because of the fabric, the White shirt can look slightly off-white.

Care: machine wash cold, tumble dry low, do not iron on the print, do not dry-clean.

This Borrowed Warmth T-Shirt shows a chinstrap penguin pressed into a huddle of emperor penguins, eyes shut, soaking up their warmth on the ice.

The chinstrap does not have a huddle of its own out here, so it borrows one. Emperor penguins are taller, quieter, built for a cold that goes bone deep, but warmth does not ask for matching feathers. Closing its eyes against their sides, the chinstrap decides family can be a temporary arrangement. Only 5 of the world's 18 penguin species live in Antarctica; another 4 live on sub-Antarctic islands.

Inside a round frame, the chinstrap penguin leans into a tall huddle of emperor penguins with its eyes closed, their golden neck markings glowing around it. “Personal Space? It's Freezing.” is set below the drawing in a colour matched to each shirt, with a small Chinstrap Collective wordmark underneath.
